I received my B.A. from Boston University, my M.A. from Yale University, and my PhD from the University of Pennsylvania, all in Religious Studies. I taught courses at the University of Pennsylvania and Villanova University before permanently relocating to Paris in 2013.

I started Ivy English in 2017 as a way of helping students understand the American university application process and ensuring their success in an American classroom. I love teaching and learning languages, discussing American education and culture, and, most of all, guiding young people towards their own foreign educational adventures.
